Varun, our man in India, never misses a chance to escape from the office and head out into the jungle.
He’s been particularly busy over the past 4 or 5 months, with numerous trips to tiger reserves like Corbett, Pench, Satpura and Ranthambhore.
Luckily for us, Varun is a damn fine photographer and so we get share all his wonderful sightings from the comfort of our office. It’s not the same as actually being there, but it’s still good.
Well, he’s been at it again and is just back from his second trip to Ranthambhore in recent weeks and, judging by the photos we’ve seen, he had some very special moments.
We thought it would be nice to share some of them with you and, who knows, maybe inspire you to head on over to India yourself for some wildlife encounters of your own.
So far, 2018 has been a fantastic year for tiger sightings in many of the reserves but Ranthambhore in particular has been outstanding, with some marvellous sightings of these beautiful big cats.
Although tigers are high on the list of those in search in India’s wildlife, they are by no means the only animal to see. India has 870 endemic species, including 15 species of wild cat, 50% of the World’s bear species and 1250 bird species.
If you’d like to see these beautiful big cats for yourself and get some great photos of your own we can help you make it happen.
